Auschwitz

While staying in Krakow, we went to see Auschwitz.
according to the guides we spoke to, the trip there by bus would only take 1-1,5 hours... but really, it was more like 3 hours. looong trip, but a great view all the way...

that same evening as we came back, we ate pizza, got our stuff from the hostel and then took a night train to Prague

Krakow

In Krakow we stayed at Mama's Hostel just by the Old Town Square. The Hostel was really great, nice and cozy and the staff was really friendly. Just across the street from the hostel, there was a great place where they served really good breakfast and later on, it was a great place for sitting outside and enjoying some cold, polish beer.

During the day, we went sightseeing in this golf-like car around the old jewish town, the old jewish ghetto from the war and Schindlers factory. We ate at this cool, vegetarian indian-style place behind the St. Maria and people in Krakow were really nice and welcoming!   

autumn trip

started out saturday morning in Randers at 06.15. weather was cold, dark and rainy which resulted in a delayed train. Luckily my dad picked us up in Fredericia and drowe us to Flensburg by the german border.

We had to switch trains in Berlin, were we took the Warszawa-express train. we arrived in Warszawa, Polan, around 20:30 in the evening. There we had 5 hours to kill, so we left our luggage and took a long walk, got some coffee and slept in the waiting hall for the last hour or so.

We finally arrived in Krakow sunday morning at around 07.15   

Coming up:

saturday morning  around crap a.m. me and a friend named Tasia will go on a interrail-adventure together!

The plan is to go to Krakow as the first stop (changing trains in Hamburg, Berling and Warszawa), where we will drink good beer, shop and go to Auschwitz/Birkenau

In Krakow we will meet up with a friend of mine, called Simon / Gråstein and together we will travel to Prague. In Prague we don't have any specific plans yet, but I bet there'll be plenty of things to do and see :)

Simon will go on by himself by thursday to Berlin, while Tasia and I stay in Prague to get some ink under our skin :3 saturday or sunday, we will also go to Berlin which will be the last stop in this round, before heading back to dk. I have to go to school monday morning, but yadda yadda.. If I don't make it.. well.. don't tell my teacher why...
